Member of TAC: Jessie

Hi! My name is Jessie, I just turned 17, and I'm a rising senior in high school. I love all things bookish, and reading is one of my favorite pastimes.

My love of reading started when I was four as I was obsessed with the Magic Treehouse books and the Nancy Drew stories my mom read to me at night.

I am currently reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. I will read just about anything, but I do have a few books I always go back to, like the Harry Potter books I have loved all my life. Some of my all-time favorites include, Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life by Wendy Mass, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Educated by Tara Westover, In the Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, and last but certainly not least, Vicious, Vengeful, and the A Darker Shade of Magic Trilogy by V.E. Schwab.

I love being a part of TAC, and I am so excited about the upcoming events we have planned!
